My teaching approach is to make the subject engaging by connecting concepts to real-life phenomena. I believe that physics becomes more meaningful and easier to understand when students can see how scientific principles are applied in the world around them. I try to move beyond memorising formulas and encourage students to develop a deeper understanding of concepts, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
I actively involve students in the learning process by asking challenging questions and encouraging them to ask questions without hesitation. I believe that creating an open and supportive learning environment helps students become more confident and curious. Every student has a different learning style, so I adapt my teaching methods based on their needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
I also use a wide range of examples and practice questions, from simple to challenging, to ensure deep and lasting learning. I gradually increase the difficulty level of problems so that students can build their confidence step by step while developing the skills needed to solve more complex questions. I focus not only on finding the correct answer but also on understanding the reasoning and methods behind each solution.
My lessons are structured but flexible. I usually begin by reviewing previous knowledge, introducing new concepts clearly, and then applying them through examples and exercises. During lessons, I regularly check students’ understanding and provide feedback to help them improve. I believe that mistakes are an important part of the learning process because they help students identify weaknesses and develop better problem-solving strategies.
I have experience teaching physics to students at different levels, including secondary school and A-level students. I understand the challenges students often face when learning physics, especially when moving from basic concepts to more advanced topics. My goal is to make difficult ideas simpler, clearer, and more approachable.
The number of students does not make a significant difference to me, but I prefer smaller classes with fewer than five students because they allow more interaction and personalized attention. In smaller groups, students have more opportunities to participate, ask questions, and receive individual feedback.
