My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and focused on building a strong understanding of concepts rather than simply memorising information. I believe every student has a unique learning style, pace, and level of understanding. Therefore, I customise my lessons according to individual learning needs, academic goals, and interests. I begin each lesson by understanding the student's existing knowledge and identifying areas that need improvement. I then introduce new topics step by step, starting with basic concepts and gradually progressing towards more advanced topics. I use simple language, relatable examples, diagrams, illustrations, presentations, and real-life applications to make even complex subjects easier to understand. For Biology and related subjects, I connect theoretical concepts with practical examples from everyday life, scientific research, and current developments. I encourage students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and develop scientific thinking. My teaching areas include Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Bioinformatics. For Python programming and Bioinformatics, I focus on learning by doing. I demonstrate coding concepts step by step and provide hands-on exercises using beginner-friendly platforms such as Google Colab. Students get opportunities to practise coding, understand errors, solve problems, and apply their knowledge to real-world examples. I also incorporate regular revision, practice questions, quizzes, worksheets, assignments, and interactive discussions to assess learning progress. I provide constructive feedback and revisit challenging topics whenever necessary. My aim is to ensure that students feel comfortable asking questions and are confident enough to explain concepts in their own words. I believe a positive and supportive learning environment is essential for academic growth. I encourage curiosity, independent thinking, problem-solving skills, and active participation rather than creating pressure to achieve immediate results. Whether a student is preparing for school examinations, undergraduate or postgraduate studies, competitive examinations, or learning a new technical skill, I structure lessons to meet their specific objectives.
