I am a neurodivergent person with a passion for music, languages and psychology and I have desire to support people like me.

I am neurodivergent and have received support myself during my academic journey. I wish to apply what I have observed to support those who may struggle as I used to. I plan to listen actively to a student’s particular concerns, askclarifying questions to better support them, ensure I am addressing precisely what they struggle with, and use visual aids when required, such as maps and graphs. I plan to use clear, simple, and direct language when explaining a concept or specific jargon. I also recognise the importance of supporting the person emotionally, as I am highly aware that ADHD may affect confidence and cause a person to develop a negative self-concept.
