As a math tutor, I would assess the student's current understanding, break down concepts into clear, manageable steps, and encourage active problem-solving. I would use visuals, analogies, and practice problems to reinforce learning while adapting to the student's preferred learning style. My goal is to build confidence and help them understand both how and why math works.
