Medical Doctor, Psychotherapist, Highschool Biology and Psychology Teacher

I recently started to work in a field that really represents who I am and fulfills me as a professional - I teach Biology and Psychology at an international School in Bucharest. Being trained as a Medical Doctor, and then switching career paths to Child and Family Psychotherapy offered me a unique set of skills in my work with kids. I bring a lot of my clinical, hands on experience to class through examples and interactive learning, managing syllabus coverage, mentoring and emotional support at the same time. In addition, being trained as a Life Coach and in Systemic Family Therapy was observed by my coordinators in relationship to our students and I was honoured to be chosen as a Safeguarding Officer, putting the care that I have towards the students into action if needed.
