I offer personalised tuition in film composition, scoring to picture, songwriting, and music production. With a strong background in both academic and practical aspects of music for media, I support individuals and small groups across a range of skill levels—from complete beginners to those looking to refine their creative and technical abilities. My teaching focuses on helping students build confidence and develop their own creative workflows, particularly within Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). I specialise in supporting learners who find traditional online tutorials overwhelming or unengaging, and I provide structured, 1-to-1 or small group sessions tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. With a deep understanding of neurodiversity, I take a patient, empathetic approach that prioritises perseverance, self-expression, and adaptability. My experience enables me to communicate complex concepts in accessible ways, making music technology and scoring techniques less intimidating and more empowering. Having recently completed a Master’s degree in Film Composition, I bring both academic depth and industry insight to my teaching. I encourage critical thinking as an essential part of the creative process, helping students analyse and evaluate musical choices, interpret briefs effectively, and problem-solve with independence and clarity.
