I have an in depth understanding about biology as it relates to behaviour

I am a formally trained teacher and a retired psychologist. I have taught in primary and secondary schools, but mostly at tertiary level. My main interest is in the biological and neurophysiological bases of behaviour to undergraduates and postgraduates for about 20 years at a University College and for the Open University. Both my Masters and Doctoral degrees have been based on the neurophysiology of behaviour. I enjoy teaching and have a good record of stimulating students' interest in the subject, so that they feel motivated to learn and achieve a good level of understanding. I am also interested in teaching biology and psychology to secondary school students so that they can more easily move forward to university education, or into jobs where this type of knowledge is required eg research assistants, speech therapists, psychological counselling etc. I take interest in students at any level to reach their highest potential. I am now retired and miss teaching and would value the opportunity to help a variety of students young or old.
