I am a hardworking and resilient person who has overcome many academic challenges and I aimed to help others too :)

I am very passionate about biology as having done it at GCSE, made me want to understand the subject at a deeper level so I completed A level AQA biology. I currently teach AQA GCSE biology, and I’m eager to teach many other students to help them overcome their difficulties within this subject and I am to increase their confident also. Further more, I start the lesson with a a quick recap or starter activity, then explain new concepts clearly using visuals and real-life examples. I include practicals, and retrieval tasks to help students engage and retain information. I will regularly use exam questions to build their confidence and analytical skills, and I always end with a short plenary to check understanding. In addition to this, I adapt my teaching to suit different learning needs and keep lessons interactive and focused. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions that you may have.
