I give private tutoring lessons tailored to the students needs

My lessons begin with a rapid-fire active recall quiz comprised of topics taught from previous sessions. I then like to go through the quiz and mark the quiz with the student, ensuring they’re clear on previous content before moving on. Afterwards, I continue teaching the curriculum, asking the student if they need any clarification on any content. Throughout this teaching section of the session, I use a whiteboard to draw or help the student visualise the content (very useful for teaching science). Lastly, I finish the session going through exam questions from the specific exam board before marking their questions and giving suggestions on how to improve. I always direct my students to past paper questions for homework to review in the following session.
