I give private lessons or revision tutoring to meet the needs of the learner and across a range of subject areas.

I am an experienced and skilled, qualified teacher. I have also trained in counselling and am able to offer a friendly, supportive and understanding service to learners who may otherwise struggle in traditional settings. I work to discover what knowledge is already mastered before delivering a phased programme of new information, combined with regular checks on progress and understanding. These may be short quizzes, games or even just through conversation. For examination level learners, I structure learning to meet the requirements of the specification and model examination questions and responses, so as to prepare students for the demands of the exam.
