I give private lessons from KS1 to GCSE

I have strong subject knowledge across KS1 to GCSE mathematics, including number, algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving. I’m experienced in breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable steps and adapting explanations to suit different abilities and learning styles. I’m confident in supporting students preparing for SATs, 11+, and GCSE exams, as well as building foundational skills for younger learners. My approach combines clear, structured explanations with interactive questioning to check understanding. I use real-life examples to make maths relatable and visual aids to support abstract ideas. I focus on developing both fluency and reasoning skills, encouraging students to explain their thinking and tackle problems step-by-step.
