GCSE & A-level Biology Tutor operating in London & Milton Keynes for online lessons. Currently a 2nd year student at UCL.

I will enquire about what my student wants to cover in the lesson beforehand so the teaching can be focused and tailored to their needs. The first part of the lesson will entail going over content to ensure they are confident with the key concepts. The second part will be dedicated to answering past paper questions to apply their knowledge to questions they will encounter in exams. I have found this to be an effective form of revision as you are actively consolidating subject understanding as well as practicing exam techniques in order to gain maximum marks. I achieved a 9 in GCSE Biology and an A in A-level Biology. I am currently a second year student at University College London studying MSci Biological Sciences with a focus in genetics. I received tutoring during my GCSEs and A-levels so I know exactly what makes a good tutor. I have also given Spanish lessons to school children, which was a useful insight into how to teach multiple students with confidence and clarity and how to plan activities that were educational and engaging.
