Friendly Maths Tutor with 3 A Levels, teaching Grades 5–8

With a strong academic background, including 3 As in A Levels and 3 A*s and 5 As in O Levels, I have developed a solid foundation in mathematics and problem-solving. I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to make my lessons interactive, patient, and tailored to each student's needs. For Grades 5–8, I will focus on building strong fundamentals rather than simply teaching students how to memorize formulas. I will first identify areas where the student needs support, then break difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps. Lessons will include clear explanations, guided examples, practice questions, and regular revision to help students retain what they learn. I especially want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because confidence is an important part of learning mathematics. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but to help them understand maths well enough to approach new problems independently and confidently.
