Advert description
Learning a new language can feel challenging, but I believe it should also be enjoyable, rewarding, and something you genuinely look forward to. That's why my goal is to create lessons where you feel comfortable, supported, and confident from day one.
For more than 20 years, I've helped children, teenagers, and adults achieve their language goals, whether they wanted to travel, communicate more confidently at work, succeed in their studies, prepare for an exam, or simply enjoy speaking a new language. As a native Spanish speaker and experienced language teacher, I know that every student learns differently, so I never use a "one-size-fits-all" approach.
Before we begin, I'd like to get to know you—your goals, your interests, and what motivates you. Then I'll tailor each lesson to your needs, making sure you learn at a pace that feels comfortable while continually building your confidence.
My lessons combine conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing in a natural way, always focusing on real-life communication. I like to use practical examples, interactive activities, and plenty of opportunities to speak because I believe that's the best way to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.
Over the years, I've taught students of all ages and levels at institutions including UPC, Idiomas PUCP, Universidad del Pacífico, and ICPNA. I've also spent many years teaching online, so I know how to create engaging virtual lessons that are interactive, well organised, and just as effective as learning in person.
Having learned foreign languages myself, I understand exactly how it feels to be a student. I know that making mistakes can be intimidating, but it's also one of the most important parts of learning. In my classes, you'll never be afraid of getting something wrong—we'll learn from it together.
If you're looking for a patient, friendly tutor who genuinely enjoys helping people grow, I'd love to help you on your Spanish-learning journey. My greatest satisfaction is seeing students realise that they can communicate with confidence—and I'd be delighted to help you reach that point too.
