My online English lessons for Year 5 to Year 9 learners are designed to be clear, engaging and highly supportive. Each session follows a simple structure that helps learners stay focused, build confidence and make steady progress. We begin with a short warm up activity that helps me check understanding and prepare the learner for the main task of the day. After that, we move into guided practice where I explain the topic, model examples and work through questions together with the learner. The final part of the lesson is independent practice where the learner applies what they have learnt while I supervise, guide and correct gently.

Every lesson is interactive. I use games, quizzes, visual aids, spelling challenges, past SATs questions and short reading or writing tasks to keep the learner active and interested. I personalise each lesson to suit the learner’s level, strengths and areas that need support. Some children need help with comprehension, while others need support with grammar, writing techniques or spellings. I adjust the pace and activities so that every learner understands clearly.

My experience includes tutoring KS2 and KS3 learners from different countries and abilities. I have helped many students improve their reading confidence, writing structure, vocabulary, spellings and exam performance. I create a warm, encouraging environment where children feel safe to make mistakes and ask questions. I believe that learning becomes easier when the child feels relaxed and supported.
