Engaging, passionate tutor with experience Lessons aimed at GCSE/ individuals struggling with bio and chem

I enjoy teaching in my spare time, having taught GCSE pupils extensively during my time at school as well as my younger sibling. This experience granted me an understanding of how to tailor lessons to engage younger students

I would run my sessions by firstly trying to grasp what students already know, before then creating a time frame with structured and tailored sessions to suit each child’s needs and initial level.

These sessions would make use of images, videos and mnemonics to help recall, where I would write processes on whiteboards for visual representation. I would set tasks for the children to complete to aid their learning and share my techniques which enabled me to receive straight A*s at GCSE level ( e.g blurting, active recall)

Overall my sessions would aim to make science (which is notoriously quite a stressful and difficult subject) fun and engaging.
