Advert description
I think teaching means opening up doors a student previously wouldn't have considered. I was blessed with excellent support and mentors myself who guided me towards not what pays well or has status, but what I truly love. What I want for my students to achieve is "ikigai" in their professional and personal life: Something they enjoy, something they're good at and something that makes the world a better place. So I would love to guide my students towards unconventional career paths, and build upon my experience to maybe help a simple "oh, there's no way I could do X, where would I even start?" to a more tangible road. Whether or not they choose to move forward would be entirely up to them of course, but as a mentor I can at least help them consider the possibility.
Another thing would be to help create a personalized way of time management. In the era of doomscrolling, there are several tips on management available, but I know from experience the best one is one you come up with for yourself.
