I am an Educator of 25 years. I privately tutor online in English, reading and writing to middle and high school students.

I have a background in teaching students content and study skills in all subject areas. I also have experience in special education and have extensive success with neurodivergent students and ADHD students in learning organizational and study skills and raising their grades. Typically we start by talking about what struggles the student is having in school, looking at some past homework assignments, and possibly taking an assessment so I can see where they are struggling. Our time together almost always starts by completing and late work or homework they have, and then discussing techniques to use in the future as well as enrichment activities on standards I have seen the student needs more instruction on.
