Advert description
I’m passionate about making complex topics easy to understand. I focus on breaking concepts down into manageable pieces and using real-world examples, analogies, and visual explanations to make learning engaging and relatable for all types of learners.
I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Computer Science from a Russell Group university, giving me a solid foundation in both human behaviour and analytical thinking. This combination allows me to approach teaching with both technical clarity and a deep understanding of how people learn and retain information.
Currently, I work full-time as a software engineer, with nearly two years of professional experience in the tech industry. My day-to-day work includes extensive use of Java and Python, as well as cloud platforms like AWS and tools such as Terraform for infrastructure automation. This hands-on experience helps me bring real-world relevance to the topics I teach.
Before moving into tech, I spent almost four years working in mental healthcare with vulnerable individuals. This experience not only strengthened my empathy and communication skills, but also taught me how to adapt my approach to suit different personalities, learning styles, and emotional needs.
I’m well-versed in a wide range of academic and technical subjects, and I genuinely enjoy helping others build confidence in their abilities. Whether you're tackling a tough assignment, preparing for exams, or just looking to understand a subject more deeply, I'm here to guide and support your learning journey.
