Design the space around you! That's the challenge

I would throw students in at the deep end! That is to say they will not drown! But I firmly believe that doing the job is the best way to learn. Therefore I would conduct a series of 'workshops' where students are set a design task and 'have a go'. I am there to help when they get stuck, guide to sources of information, divert occasionally to a little theoretical study of design and architecture to help give a background of knowledge
