Advert description
I have built a strong foundation in second language teaching
through my Bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, completed as a dual diploma program between the Azerbaijan University of Languages and the University of Essex. Professionally, I have gained hands-on experience in diverse educational settings, including serving as an English teacher intern at the XXI Century International Education and Innovation Centre—where I observed classes, delivered demo lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum, and prepared students for Checkpoint exams—and working as a teaching assistant at the International Montessori Center. Additionally, I have been working as a self-employed English language teacher since September 2023, creating tailored lessons for learners of varying ages and proficiency levels.
My technical qualifications and teaching methodologies are validated by several recognized credentials, including a Cambridge TKT Module 1 (Band 4) certification, a 120-hour TESOL certification, an IELTS score of 7.0, and specialized training in Task-Based Language Teaching, Classroom Management for Primary, and Creativity in Teaching Grammar and Vocabulary. I am also a Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) with strong digital skills in Canva and the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel. My ability to manage and mentor students is demonstrated by my role as a scientific advisor for a pupil at a student-pupil scientific conference in 2026. Furthermore, my participation in international platforms, such as the Global Education Summit 2025 and the "Future of Learning" International Education Forum, combined with my multilingual skills in Azerbaijani, fluent English (C1), Russian, and French, has equipped me with a strong international mindset and the communication skills necessary to collaborate effectively within a multicultural school community.
