I am creative and adapt my teaching style to any students’ needs.

I will undertake a pre-assessment to get to know the student and see what stage the student is currently at. After identifying the stage, I would organise and create different visual and practical tasks and activities around mathematics to engage my student in their learning. Throughout the teaching I would carry out formative assessments to see how well the student is doing and if they need work on a specific concept. At the end of a few weeks I would carry out summative assessments. I would also feedback to the parent with a report on the tuition to keep the parent updated. I would also use rewarding techniques to help the student feel like they have accomplished a task and help them develop a confident and growth mindset towards their learning.
