I have been teaching English for more than 20 years and have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages and backgrounds. My teaching philosophy is centered around creating a positive and engaging learning environment, where students feel comfortable to learn English. In my classes, I use communicative approach. My classes are dynamic and I use activities that challenge you to actively produce language, just like we do in our every day lives. I keep my lessons lively, as we learn the best when we are interested--no boring grammar lectures! I work as 1 to 1 language tutor and my lessons are focused on the student. Everyone has a unique learning style, and it’s my job to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. My goal as a tutor is to help students achieve their academic goals and develop a love for learning.

My name is Svitlana. I have been teaching English for more than 20 years and have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages and backgrounds.
I got my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Linguistics in Ukraine.
After graduation I was teaching English at University and a language school in Ukraine, both offline and online.
I am a CELTA certified English teacher and live in Berlin now.
