I do a warm up activity related to the theme or topic for example travel. I would do a guessing games with some country flags. Then I would do an open question, where would you want to travel and why. I would then introduce important vocabulary and phrases important to the lesson. I use the scaffolding method. Then I would begin the lesson of either speaking, reading or writing.
