Merhaba! I'm Bariscan, a native Turkish speaker now living in Essex. For most of my career, talking was my job. I spent eight years in the pharmaceutical industry, first as a medical rep and then in marketing. Over those years I had a lot of training in sales, marketing, diction and persuasion. In short, I learned how to explain things clearly and how to keep a conversation going. My work also took me to almost every corner of Turkey. I've spoken with people from every region, from the Black Sea to the Aegean and from Istanbul to the southeast. Along the way I picked up their accents, their food, their jokes and their local ways of saying things. That's the kind of Turkish you won't find in a textbook. In our lessons, I'll adapt to your level and your goals, whether you're a complete beginner, planning a holiday, or trying to talk with your Turkish family.
