Primary teacher offering lessons in all subjects (with strengths in Maths and Science). EAL conversational English tutoring

Having completed my MSc degree in Early Prehistoric Biomolecular Archaeology, I completed a PGCE throught the TeachFirst Leadership Development course.

In have enjoyed a 10-year career as a primary teacher and leader in a variety of schools across England and during this time, I have been able to secure excellent progress and attainment for a range of learners from a diverse range of backgrounds. Towards the end of my time as a teacher, I began to notice the vast difference in attainment and progress exhibited by students who had 1-1 private tutoring and thus began to offer these sessions myself.

I thoroughly relished the 1-1 dynamic and the fact that I was able to offer my experience, skills and knowledge to my students without distraction or obstruction and I took great pride in seeing the difference those sessions made to the outcomes for my students.

I have also tutored students in conversational English, in real-world settings such as cafes, bars and retaurants to allow them to apply what they have learnt at language schools into a real life context.

I now offer 1-1 tutoring sessions for children working at the primary level and for adult EAL learners looking to improve their converesational English skills.
