I spent two years teaching at the German Saturday School Bristol (DSS Bristol), but am now based in York. My teaching centres on the student/s and if one way of learning doesn't work we'll try another! I have experience preparing and delivering content as well as adapting it to fit the tone/age of the learners. E.g. lesson on animals -> with 12 y.o. students we might write a story, talk about fables and read another student's out loud to practice reading, writing and speaking -> with 6 y.o. students we might listen to a series of animal noises, draw them as we listen an then work on saying the names of the animals and learning how to spell them.
