Hi I’m Poppy and I am a native English speaker (living here in the UK) with qualifications in both English Language and Literature. As well as English, I can also speak Spanish, Korean, Chinese (Cantonese) and a little Italian.
With my classes I can tailor the experience to you as a student. I will focus on enhancing your language skills in as many ways as I can. Whether that be in grammar, accents, reading, writing, formality or cultural knowledge on English and English speaking countries.

Poppy in a nutshell

I have qualifications in both English literature and Language. My lessons will be suited to fit you. If you need more speaking practice or more grammar lessons, I will design a personal lesson that builds on that.

I have had experience working in both primary schools and early high school ages.

As well as this I also speak Spanish, Korean, Chinese (Cantonese) and a little Italian if that makes the lessons any easier.

I am friendly and very easy to talk to. I have a lot of different interests and will be sure to incorporate the student’s own interests into the lessons. For example, if they want to learn vocabulary related to a typical hobby or interest.
