Experienced IELTS Teacher - Achieve that High Band with Confidence!

Hello! I'm Rita, an experienced English teacher, IELTS specialist and Head of EAL with over 30 years of teaching experience.

I help students from around the world to improve their English and achieve their target IELTS scores for university entry, professional registration, work and immigration purposes. I currently teach Academic English and IELTS preparation and have successfully supported students at a wide range of levels, from intermediate learners to those aiming for Band 7, 8 and above.

My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to your individual needs. We will focus on the areas that will help you make the fastest progress, whether that is Speaking, Writing, Reading or Listening. I provide clear explanations, practical strategies, personalised feedback and plenty of opportunities to practise exam skills and build confidence.

I also help students improve their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and academic writing skills so that they can use English more effectively beyond the IELTS exam itself.
