Colloquial and formal English for overseas students

I have an excellent command of both oral and written English having been born and raised in England, and attended public school. I live in York where there is a high number of foreign students and believe that people coming here from abroad would benefit from chatting to a UK native to pick up the nuances in words and dialect that will inevitably be encountered.
