Advert description
Effective tutoring usually leads to the student becoming an independent learner. This means that my responsibility as a tutor is not only to help them understand specific school subjects, but also to guide and support them as they acquire critical thinking and critical learning skills. Good tutoring prepares tutees for handling complex classroom and everyday life problems in addition to helping them solve academic challenges.
Additionally, Setting tutoring goals helps me structure my students' learning plans and monitor their learning progress. I always make sure the goals that I set are measurable and realistic. It's also important that they're action-oriented, which helps me determine what my tutee would be able to do after achieving a specific goal. I also work with each student to assign a deadline for our learning goals. For example, a good goal could include reviewing all class material before their end-of-year exam'.
