Happy to help with SATS prep for KS2, 11+ maths or general confidence boost

As with all primary teachers, I teach all aspects of the curriculum, but I have been in the maths lead role for 8 years and would consider myself as a specialist in this field. I can help:

Those who are working well below their age group. I feel equipped to teach those who never really grasped the basics and believe strongly in using manipulatives and pictorial representations to facilitate learning.

Those who are preparing for their SATs: I have taught in year 6 for 4 years and have lots of experience in preparing children for their Maths, GPS and Reading SATs exams.

Through private tutoring, I have helped students to prepare for their 11+ maths tests.

I like to include games, examples of questions and how to represent questions through pictures. I have many years of successful teaching and tutoring experience and thrive on helping children to reach their full potential. I can quickly pick up on where children may need the most help and put in effective steps to help them to get there.
