I have a solid background in primary education, with experience teaching across the Key Stages. This has given me a thorough understanding of the curriculum, as well as the ability to plan engaging lessons that are tailored to individual needs. My teaching experience has equipped me with strong skills in differentiation, assessment for learning, and behaviour management, which I apply effectively in a one-to-one or small-group tutoring context. I am skilled at breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, and I use a variety of strategies and resources to support different learning styles. I have experience helping children develop core skills in English and Maths, as well as building confidence in reading, writing and problem-solving. Alongside subject knowledge, I bring excellent communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach. I am experienced in working with pupils who may need extra support to catch up, as well as those who benefit from additional challenge. I am confident in motivating learners, setting achievable goals, and celebrating progress so that each child feels successful in their learning journey.
