GCSE English Literature Tutor, if you may be struggling I’ll help you

Getting a 9 in English GCSE, I offer structured, supportive English tutoring tailored to each student’s exam board and specification. In our lessons, we will work closely through the set texts, poems and exam requirements to build confidence, improve analytical skills and strengthen essay technique.

I focus on helping students clearly understand themes, context and writer’s methods, while also developing strong paragraph structure and exam timing. We will practise past paper questions, plan high-level responses and refine answers using targeted feedback.

I have previously tutored three students who all reported feeling significantly more confident in English and better prepared for their assessments. My approach is patient, encouraging and focused on making complex ideas easier to understand.
