I’ve been seeing Marta - to learn Spanish from scratch - for about 18 months. As a mature student of 76, it’s fair to say that my memory skills are not as good as younger students. However great progress has been made since I started my lessons which are in a different form each week, and both interesting and improving my retentive skills! Marta is personable, patient and lessons are fun. She has the skill of explaining grammar points in everyday language that is easy to understand and uses PowerPoint slides to illustrate various features of the language. Games are part of the learning process - playing snakes and ladders with a Spanish board is a novel way of increasing vocabulary and learning about Spanish culture. I’m lucky that I am learning Spanish for fun, as a hobby and not within the confines of an exam syllabus. However I have no doubt that those students who do require this more focused approach would also benefit from lessons with Marta. She is an excellent tuto

Marta has been teaching my daughter Spanish for several years now. Marta is a great teacher and is able to adapt and be flexible to the needs of each child, for example when my daughter loses focus, Marta will adjust her teaching plan to play an interactive game - which will always works and has positive results. It has been wonderful to listen and watch my daughter have the confidence to speak in Spanish, when we are abroad in Spanish speaking countries. We feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful teacher like Marta.
