A 3rd year Medic at UoN and have achieved all A*s in A-level/GCSE offering KS1-5 tutoring in various subjects

I am an enthusiastic and experienced tutor specialising in GCSE Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. Having achieved A* in A-level Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, along with 9 A* grades at GCSEs.

My experience includes working with a tutoring agency and delivering one-to-one support for students in Maths and Science. I have also volunteered extensively as a peer mentor for students with special educational needs, developing strong adaptability in communication and tailoring my teaching approach to suit different learning styles. Additionally, my roles as senior prefect and house captain have strengthened my leadership and organisational skills, while coaching younger children in badminton has honed my ability to motivate and inspire.

Beyond education, I have volunteered at a COVID-19 vaccination clinic and local hospital, which has taught me patience, empathy, and the ability to support people in varied circumstances – all qualities I bring into my tutoring.

I understand exactly what it takes to excel academically. My personal journey through secondary school included receiving tuition myself, giving me unique insight into how to make learning clear, relatable, and enjoyable for students.

My teaching focuses on building not only strong subject knowledge but also exam technique and confidence, enabling students to reach their full potential.

A key strength I bring is my ability to communicate complex concepts in simple, structured ways while keeping sessions engaging. I am patient and approachable, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions and overcoming any learning barriers. I am also highly organised, reliable, and skilled at motivating students, which often transforms their attitude toward subjects they may find challenging.
