A-Level student tutoring GCSE Biology and Chemistry online, turning difficult concepts into clear understanding and confident exam performance

Having navigated academic pressure alongside personal health challenges during my own GCSEs, I understand how important patient, supportive teaching is for student progress.

I am currently an A-Level student studying Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I have experience supporting younger students in GCSE Chemistry and Biology through both one-to-one and small group tutoring.

When tutoring, I begin by identifying areas of difficulty, then break topics down into clear, manageable steps with examples that are adapted for each student. I reinforce learning through active recall techniques, such as quick whiteboard quizzes, and exam-style questions to strengthen understanding and exam performance. This has helped students improve their understanding and confidence in exam questions, and I enjoy helping students feel more confident in subjects they initially find challenging.
