North London Painting Tutor for Home and en plein-air Lessons

I take on students of all ages for face-to-face, one-to-one lessons both at their home or mine, or indeed outdoors for plein-air lessons. I am open to online courses too. Lessons usually last an hour and involve working on a single subject or reference photograph together with the goal of preparing a complete first draft that the student can then take away to finish off or rework in between lessons. I will provide tailored guidance on materials, technique, composition, use of colour, among other topics.

I am a painter in oils and acrylics with over ten years of experience. Focusing on landscapes and still lifes, I am influenced by impressionist, post-impressionist and colourist movements of Northern France, Canada, America and the USSR.
