I have an 18 year experience in tutoring. It started in pre university days . I did several home tutoring in my country. Also, a an medical school undergraduate, I did a lot of tutorial for the younger students. As a practicing budding physician, part of my job entailed tutoring medical students and other junior doctors. personally, with my 18 years experience in tutoring, I realized the best form of impacting knowledge is interactive. It makes the tutee more relaxed and comfortable. It also gives the tutor an insight of the cerebral strength and weakness of her students and how to fill in the lapses. Another form of impactful knowledge is via pictorial representation and giving live examples. This prevents imaginative thought and enhances retentive memory as the students are not left in isolation as to fathom what is be taught. This prevents cramming which is not ideal for learning.
As an individual, teaching is my passion. I feel comfortable impacting knowledge to all age groups because knowledge is power. The positivity students exhibits when they understand an information or comprehend a difficult sum cannot be overemphasized and this is the highlight for learning for me. I would gladly teach all forms of biological sciences, chemistry and physics. The positive outcome with my former students and their outstanding performances is satisfactory and above all, teaching is a personal passion and over the years, the sensation of seeing your tutees excel in their career is mind blowing and this is my motivation
