Experienced online GCSE Maths tutor who takes a patient, positive and empathetic approach to tutoring

I always begin my tutoring lessons with some active recall of previously learnt topics to ensure absolute confidence and facilitate mastery of the topic. Forgetting is normal, making recap essential! I provide example responses, top tips, explain common student misconceptions so they don't trip you up! I always ask follow-up questions and ensure students feel comfortable and not judged when they ask questions. I give multiple examples before asking the student to walk me through a similar question. I aim to expose students to as many different questions styles as possible. Typical length of a lesson: 1 hour. I have tutored for 3 years and my students have gone on to achieve great things.
