Expert AQA Psychology Tuition from Experienced Teacher & Senior Examiner

My aim is to help students develop a deeper understanding of Psychology, build confidence and achieve the grades they are capable of through expert, personalised tuition.

As an experienced Psychology teacher and Senior Examiner, combining over 18-years of classroom experience with first-hand knowledge of how examination papers are assessed, enables me to help students understand not only what they need to learn, but also how to apply their knowledge effectively and maximise marks in examinations. I have extensive experience teaching the full AQA A-Level Psychology specification and currently mark for both Paper 1 and Paper 3.

My passion for Psychology began when I studied it at A-Level in 1998. I went on to complete a BSc (Hons) Psychology degree before qualifying as a teacher in 2008. I continue to teach in the same high-performing secondary school - consistently rated as 'outstanding' during my time there - and support hundreds of students in developing their understanding of Psychology, as well as helping them achieve their academic goals in my role as Head of Year and Assistant Head of Sixth Form.

Tuition is tailored to the individual needs of each student. Whether support is needed with challenging content, essay writing, evaluation skills, research methods, revision strategies or exam technique, sessions are carefully planned to address areas for development and build confidence step by step.
