Tutor with a Master's degree in Journalism

Private lessons taught by a tutor with lots of experience teaching. I have a deep passion for educating youth, and I work extremely hard to give every child the best possible chance at a strong future. I believe in teaching the why as well as just the what. Knowledge is so much more likely to stick if those learning understand why they are learning what they learn and how it will apply to their future. A lot of students feel alienated by education because of the lack of application to the "real world". But even when they may not use things like Pythagoras and poetry analysis in their real lives, skills such as problem-solving and critical thinking can take them anywhere.
