My name is Federica, I’m Italian, and I live in London.
I have more than five years of experience in teaching Italian to English speakers.
I obtained my Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language certificate from the Università per Stranieri di Siena, after completing a teacher training course in London.
My students range from beginner to upper-intermediate level. I help them explore the language in depth — to truly understand it and build a strong foundation, rather than simply memorize it.
I have gained experience in preparing students for the CILS B1 Citizenship exam and the GCSE Italian exam.
Over the past two years, I’ve been designing and delivering Italian lessons for foreign students through a company, tailoring every class to my students’ interests and learning styles.
We use English as our common language when necessary, and I also speak Spanish.
I use Google Drive to share documents and useful links, and to correct or discuss homework with my students — this way, we can focus our lesson time on communication and practice (unless we need to review something specific).
