I have taught English in School and as a foreign language to Spanish students. I have had a long career in music and am very used to public speaking. I have a broad and accurate command of English old and new through extensive literature from contemporary to pre-Shakespeare. I am a published author with an autobiography and two further historical novels almost completed. I am gregarious, enthusiastic and inspiring (apparently!) My enthusiasm for English, music and history is infectious. English is a language heavily influenced by other languages: Latin, Norse, French and German. I have a knowledge of all of these but, sadly, not Greek. English laughs at grammatical rules and, wherever possible, tries to break them. English rejoices in being different from other languages because of this and is therefore a bit of a handful as a second language. Once mastered, however, English is probably the richest and most beautiful language on the planet and well worth the trial and tribulations in the teething stages.
What are my lessons like? A whirlwind of learning. Fun and fascinating. The time will fly by! Before you know it, you'll be constructing sentences like a Master.
