Advert description
Hi, I’m Daisy, a recent Psychology graduate with a passion for helping students thrive.
I understand how much of a difference the right support can make—I've experienced it firsthand. That’s why I’ve created a tutoring environment that’s supportive, personal, and tailored to each student’s unique learning journey.
Throughout school and university, I worked as a peer mentor, helping others grasp complex ideas and build confidence in their abilities. This showed me just how powerful it can be to have someone in your corner, who believes in your potential and helps to guide you there. I want to make a difference for all of my students and help them to thrive within a learning environment.
What you can expect from working with me:
A personalised approach: Our first session will focus on identifying your (or your child’s) strengths and areas for growth. I’ll ask for previous work feedback and we will work collaboratively to understand what kind of support is most needed—whether that’s building subject knowledge, developing study strategies, or improving exam technique.
Structured lessons: Each session will follow a clear outline and build on the last. I’ll provide parents with regular updates and session overviews so you’re always in the loop. Generally, this involves using exam resources that helped me to achieve A*s and A grades to structure revision, working through exam papers collaboratively to understand what examiners are looking for, or just reviewing content that may not have been grasped yet in a supportive and friendly environment!
A tutor with experience of a variety of exam boards: As I have previously tutored throughout my university and school career, I have experience with a variety of exam boards. This includes AQA, Edexcel and OCR. I have a wide range of experience supporting pupils with AQA exam board examinations.
A supportive space to learn and grow: Above all, my goal is to make tutoring a positive, pressure-free experience. I want my students to leave every session feeling more confident and capable.
If you’re looking for a tutor who’s approachable, organised, and committed to helping students succeed on their own terms, I’d love to hear from you.
