I am a newly-qualified primary school teacher who is passionate about shaping the future through children’s education.

After being an HLTA last year, I have developed both a passion and a knowledge for educating young children. Although my role primarily focused on Maths and English within Year 5, as part of the PPA team I encompassed the entire curriculum. From my both my placements and teaching jobs, I understand that all children do not learn or excel in the same way. I am able to adapt my teaching methods in order to support each child and their individual needs. Teaching is a love of mine, but it is not my only interest. Previous to completing my PGCE in Primary Education, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a BA degree in Geography. I’m also a knowledgeable mathematician, with an A-Level in the subject. Although Maths would be my priority, I would be able to teach all subjects across primary school. I currently tutor a family friend in Year 8. We focus predominantly on Maths, however we have covered English and Science, as well as other foundation subjects.
