I have a degree in Physics and spent my career in Information Technology and Computer Systems Development. I have taught programming skills to developers for over 30 years. My students range from teenage apprentices to seasoned developers.

A typical lesson will run as:
- review of previous work
- coverage of any outstanding questions or blocking points
- teaching of a new topic
- pair coding session covering the new topic, *you* do the coding, I monitor, advise, suggest and prompt
- setting some homework to reinforce knowledge, give more practice, and make sure you get the best value from the lesson
