I provide expert teaching and curriculum development across psychology, counselling, and mental health, with a strong foundation in academic theory and applied practice. with experience in both further and higher education settings, I support learners through clear, evidence-informed delivery that reflects current professional and ethical standards.
I can teach across the following areas :
• Psychology – Developmental, biological, and cognitive psychology; ethical and conceptual issues; and research methods and statistics.
• Mental Health and Wellbeing – Understanding mental health conditions, promoting emotional wellbeing, and exploring therapeutic strategies and interventions.
• Counselling Skills and Theory – Training in core counselling approaches including person-centred and cognitive behavioural models, with a focus on practical application.
• Therapeutic Work with Children – Child-centred methods including play-based approaches, creative therapies, and emotional literacy development.
• Health and Social Care – Topics such as human growth and development, safeguarding, communication in care settings, and health promotion.
• Special Educational Needs (SEN) – Supporting neurodiverse learners, inclusive education practices, and person-centred planning.
I am fluent in both Welsh and English, and fully capable of teaching and producing resources bilingually.
