​I am a 'successful', current, secondary school teacher, with over 18, years, ​experience of teaching at Key stage 3 and at GCSE level, in both English literature and English language.

In addition, I am trained and experienced, in both planning for and assessing on the 'New' GCSE exam specifications for both English Literature and English Language.

I am currently employed, in a school in London.

My tried and tested, one-one, online lessons, are tailored to meet your individual learning needs to generate success in English literature and English language.
From Pride and Prejudice, to Macbeth.
From year 7 to year 10.
From English language Paper 1 and Paper 2, my lessons with modelling and tasks are engaging, fun and produce results.
You will see and make progress to better grades, from the very​ first lesson.

Maria was my child's tutor for 2 years for both English literature and language. Maria supported us throughout - was even there for my daughter over the Xmas break , after an accident in November she was off school for a monthh ; she needed to catch up to prepare for her mock exams in Jan 2026.
