Hi everyone!

I’m an English Language and Literature tutor with 6 years of experience working with accredited tutoring organisations, GT Scholars and Get Further in London on school and high education programmes, working with students from marginalised backgrounds and those who were unable to achieve a pass grade in their qualifications at their first attempt. I’ve helped my students achieve beyond their target grades and helped them grow their confidence in the subjects, so that they not only reach their goals but enjoy studying English. I can tutor from primary to A level. I have also successfully tutored students working towards their Level 2 Functional Skills English Language qualification.

My tutoring style puts my students at the centre and I like to allow each lesson to be led by my student to give them autonomy over their learning and do that our lessons are tailored to their needs. I begin lessons with plenty of discussion-based exercises and consolidate my students’ learnings with exam-style questions both in and outside of timed conditions and short quizzes. I am happy to teach to the requirements of your exam board at GCSE and A Level.
